4 month old Terry came to us with his mama and 6 other siblings when he was just a tiny tyke of 3 weeks old! As he grew, he quickly showed himself to be the alpha of the litter and a very quick learner. Terry's litter mates have all been adopted, and now this little 6 lb guy is looking for his forever home too. Terry LOVES to play with his mama Brooklyn, who is also still available for adoption, but he also entertains himself well with his toys – occasionally asking his foster mom or dad to give them a toss. After playtime is over he'll come over to his people to snuggle up or retreat to his crate which is also his comfort zone. Terry hasn't had much experience outside of the home and, while he's done well at our adoption events in the past, lately he is struggling a bit with meeting new people. He gets scared when approached and will bark out of fear. He simply needs more time out in the big old world, and meeting new friends who are extending treats his way would probably help. Because he's small, shy, and still a mouthy puppy, we don't recommend Terry for a family with small children. Older kids who will be interested in offering him a friendly lap and some playtime in the back yard would be great. Terry's ideal home will have a relatively quiet atmosphere without a lot of new people coming and going where he can relax in his happy place. Sunny windows would be a bonus!
