Ruger is a 12 week old pitbull boxer puppy who was found roaming the streets in Los Banos after an apparent attack by another animal that left him was several wounds so deep he required immediate surgery. During surgery our little guys heart stopped and he required and CPR. If that wasn't enough Ruger woke up and could not walk and was blind. In his foster home he required lot of medical attention and lots of physical therapy but we are happy to say now Ruger is a normal playful loving wonderful puppy. His favorite canine play made as it is a little 4 pound terrier but his favorite snuggle bug is a 75 pound lab. Ruger has not met a stranger yet he gets along with kids dogs of all sizes. We have not had him around cats. He is crate trained and well on his way to being potty trained. Ruger will need a family that is dedicated to continued socialization and formal training so that he can continue to be the wonderful dog he is already proving to be. He could be the poster child for pit bulls and how wonderful they can be.
