Peaches is a 4-5 year old Lhaso Apso/ Poodle mix. Her story starts a bit sad but we have promised her it will end with the perfect forever home. Peaches and a large Black Lab were found in a car with an unconscious man who later died at the hospital. It was apparent that the man and his dogs were living out of their car. We do not know how long they were in the car before being found but poor Peaches had some bad matts and a dirty coat that needed to be shaved off. Peaches has a heart of gold and is very loving with everyone she meets. It is apparent that the gentleman in the car with them that kept his dogs with him even when he had no where else to go had taken the best care he possibly could and was very good to them both. Peaches weighs about 18 pounds. She could stand to lose a few which I don't think will be a problem once she is in her new home receiving a good diet and exercise. The leash is new to Peaches so her family will need to be patient with her and be ready to teach her all the things she has missed out on. She is very loving and seems to be fitting right into the life she deserves with a warm bed and lots of love from her people. We have not had Peaches around children but she doesn't show any signs of aggression so she would probably be Ok with well behaved older children that know how to treat a dog. She would be a good option for those that prefer a non shedding coat but will require regular visits to the groomer to keep her coat in good shape.
