Rose came into the shelter with 2 two day old puppies in tow. We were called and asked to take mom and puppies because the shelter is no place for puppies to live. Rose was initially very shy and protective of her pups but that only lasted the first night. Once Rose found out she and her babies were safe and her foster family was friend not foe she became the biggest snuggle bug. Rose was a perfect mommy to her pups but now they are old enough to find their forever homes and so is Rose. She currently lives with other dogs and does just fine. Rose's true love is her people though. She loves nothing more than snuggling up in your nap. It doesn't matter if its day or night she wants to be where you are without being to pushy of course. Rose would be perfect for someone that wants a low energy, high loving dog. Rose weighs about 8 pounds so is the perfect size to go anywhere with you. She could fit perfectly in a fashionable doggie purse so she can go to all the dog friendly establishments with you. After she gets over her first 10 minutes of shyness when she meets new people you will see a very well behaved little girl that is a people pleaser. Rose is crate trained.
