Daisy came to our rescue when her family could no longer provide the home that Daisy needed. Her previous family loved her very much which was apparent by how well Daisy was taken care of. After many tears they realized Daisy would be best in a home that had someone at home more often than not. In her previous home Daisy had a lot of seperation anxiety when her people were away at work each day. Because both mom and dad worked full time jobs and it was clear the distress Daisy went through each day was not good for her they called us to see if we could help find her a perfect home.
In her new foster home Daisy has other dogs to keep her company and a stay at home "Grandma" with a nice warm lap that she can snuggle on and she has done great. The first few days in her new home she was nervous and slighty cautious with her new people. Fast forward a few weeks and Daisy finds her comfort with all the people in her house. She is a true "velcro" dog that loves to follow you around the house and will jump right in your lap when you sit down to join you for some TV time. Daisy is perfectly crate trained and will go right in her crate every night to sleep without hesitation. She is great with kids of all sizes. She is a little cautious at first with tall men but once she gets to know them she will shower them with doggie kisses too. Daisy could accompny you to dog friendly establishments and could go to work with you if you have a "slower" office environment. She's pretty darn cute so a Google type office may be a little much with all the
dog loving people that will be unable to resist reaching down to pet her. Daisy can be left in her crate for a few hours each day but her perfect home would be home more often than not. She will not do well in a home where her people are away at work for 8-10 hours a day. She has had no accidents in her foster home. Daisy is about 4-5 years old and weighs about 8 pounds.
