Pockets is named for his size. At 4 pounds he is definitely small enough to fit in your pocket. He is quite a little character as he plays tug of war and chase with dogs 5 times his size. He doesn't realize his small stature and we aren't going to tell him. It's to much fun to watch him take the bigger dogs on. He gets along with dogs of all sizes. He loves his people and doesn't seem to have any hang ups with anything. Pick him up and he will quickly burrow into your armpit or neck to take a little snooze. He does still have some puppy behaviors so will need a home that is prepared to keep their shoes in a safe place if they don't want them chewed on. Pockets could easily go to dog friendly establishments and could accompany mom or dad at the office. Because of his small size we will not place him with small toddler age children. He loves kids but he can easily be hurt by a child that is to small to know proper care of a dog this size. The tear staining you see on Pockets' eyes is improving with a high quality, grain free dog food. He was found as a stray so probably didn't have the best diet during that time.
