Ryder is a 5 year old boy that we were asked to rehome when his current family found themselves in a situation that would not allow them to keep him. Ryder has been a very loved part of his current family and has been impeccably cared for. He is friendly with dogs and cats as you can see from his photo above. Ryder is also an option for a family with children if those children know the proper way to treat and handle a dog.
Ryders favorite thing is his people. He will sit by you all day asking for a scratch on the head or a belly rub.He follows his family allover the house. He loves a daily walk or hike and then wants to snuggle up next to you for some TV watching or reading. Ryder will require a home with a fully fenced in yard as he is a bit go a wanderer. He is not much of a barker unless he is warning his family of someone coming to the house that he doesn't know. Ryder is not over the top in energy level like some Border Collies can be. He has gone through some formal obedience training with his current family. He is potty trained and crate trained. Ryder will make one lucky home a perfect pet.
