Princess Leia is ready for her forever home. This sweet girl was in such bad shape when we rescued her that we actually took her in as a hospice case. She hardly had any hair, she was covered in scabs over most of her body and her eyes and ears were so infected it took several rounds of medication to clear them up! When she walked into our adoption event last weekend our volunteers could hardly believe their eyes. This sweet 10 year old Maltese mix has a beautiful shiny white coat, clear eyes, clean ears and a happy little swagger. It was as if she knew how great she looks. She weighs about 15 pounds and is totally potty trained. Princess Leia lives with other dogs and loves them all.
