Roo was heard crying day and night by a concerned neighbor. When they went to ask where the noise was coming from they were led to a chicken coop where Roo was scared, full of fleas and hiding in the corner. The people who owned the house said she was left with them and they did not want her. We were called to see if we could help. A foster was found and Roo was picked up that day. Named for her uncanny ability to jump like a Kangaroo this sweet 7 pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix is your textbook “Velcro” dog. Roo will sit snuggled up to you for hours if you let her. She currently lives with several other dogs and is starting to show she has a cute little playful side in her once she is comfortable. She does love your lap and will try to tell other dogs to get away if she is allowed. Her foster mom doesn’t allow that so Roo settles in nicely and has learned how to share the pole position with the other dogs in the house. Roo could easily live with other dogs or be your one and only. She is small enough to accompany you on all your dog friendly outings and can even be your carry on on the air plane once travel starts up again.
