Meet Winston! This sweet pup needed our help after he was left at a Good Samaritan's home when his family left the country.

Winston is 3 years old and can be a little shy at first, but is full of love once he realizes you're a friend. He gets along with other dogs and sleeps soundly in his crate overnight. Despite his small stature, he's an athletic guy who can jump up on the kitchen table without a problem! He'll do best in a home with a tall fence, a daily exercise routine, and one who would like to take him to agility training classes. At around 15 pounds, he's small enough to take all on your dog-friendly outings! He'd much rather be with you than without you and will need some work on separation anxiety. He's got a big voice that he likes to use when he's excited or nervous, so he'll need reassurance and guidance to understanding how to be cool, calm, and collected.

Winston came to us with some bald patches on his back that we think may be from a possible flea allergy, but his fur has returned and his skin looks great! He will need oral (not topical) flea meds throughout his life to help prevent further irritation. He also gets a Cytopoint shot regularly to help with seasonal allergy symptoms. Winston would prefer a home with another dog to keep him company.
