Looking for an active four-legged pal to join you on all of your adventures? Well Pogo may be the one! This 6 month old Hound/Terrier mix is looking for an active family that loves to play hard and snuggle harder. Pogo lives with other dogs and LOVES them all. He plays well and would love another canine pal in his forever home, but it’s not a requirement. If you are an avid hiker, paddle boarder, runner or camper, Pogo would like to join your family. Like his name this little guy can jump pretty high so a tall fenced-in yard is a must. 

Pogo’s foster mom is his biggest fan! Here’s what she’d like you to know about him:

He sleeps in his crate at night and stays in there during the day while I’m at work without accidents. He’s not fond of it and does barks for a bit until he settles down. He’s much happier sleeping on my bed at night and sleeps well without accidents.

He hasn’t had accidents in the house since coming to me but does have access to a dog door and goes out on his own. He loves hikes and the dog park! He still gets his puppy crazies and antics and gets wound up when there’s a ton of high energy or yelling. But he is a big cuddle bug.

He’s going through his juvenile crazy chewing phase but he is very smart! And he does know basic commands and listens. I think he’d do good with kids 8 and older. He played nicely with some young ones at the dog park. And would love a family that’s home often. He LOVE LOVE LOVES being with people.
