Peeta is ready for her own forever home. Unfortunately this sweet 5-6 month old fluffy mix of Poodle/Tibetan Terrier/Wheaten and may be a splash of Havanese did not get the proper socialization needed during the most informative months of her young life so she is pretty shy and scared when she first meets new people. Her go to move is to hide in her crate or under your armpit when you are holding her so she will need a very patient home that is willing to give her the time to feel comfortable before she is relaxed enough to seek you out and give kisses. Peeta does not have a mean bone in her body so she is easy to fall in love with and will definitely become a "happy ending" worthy of an episode on the Dodo so her new family should take lots of pictures and videos to show her progress. Peeta does find security and happiness with other dogs so we will be looking for a home that has another young and playful pooch in it. If there are children in the home they will need to be over the 10 year range, have doggie experience and know how to properly treat them. We expect Peeta to be around the 20-25 pound range which makes her a great size for most people. She has learned how to play fetch and would love to have a yard to run around in with her canine siblings or just hanging out in the sun while the family breaks out the Weber to grill dinner for the night. She is crate trained and does great with potty training in her foster home.
