Buddy came to us from the Stanislaus shelter as a scared, shaking little guy that was hiding in the corner of his kennel. When one of our volunteers saw his sad little face they knew we had to move fast to get him out of there. Fast forward almost 2 weeks and Buddy is proving to be a pretty cool little pooch. While he still needs a few minutes to realize you are friend and not foe once he does this sweet little beagle mix is ready for some serious snuggling, lap warming and all around worshipping of his person. At 18 pounds Buddy makes the perfect portable pooch so he can join you on your moderate hiking trails, wine tasting schedules or a weekend trip to the beach for some sun and fun with your bestie. Because he is a little timid with new people we will be looking for a home with no kids or if there are kids in the home they should be dog Savy and in the "teenager" age range.  Buddy is crate trained and had his potty training down to almost perfection. He has been working on his Christmas wish list so is hoping his forever home finds him in time to get his address change in so Santa knows where his Christmas stocking is hung.
